Southern Nevada Water Quality

Created in partnership with the Southern Nevada Water Authority, this unit introduces students to the importance of water quality for all living beings. Students will explore sources of water contamination as well as the local water testing and treatment process through hands-on, STEAM activities. This Green Box also introduces students to careers in water treatment, chemistry, and process engineering.
