Rainforest and Desert Discovery
In this unit, students will learn about the Amazon Rainforest and Mojave Desert, habitats, and shapes through hands-on STEAM activities. Students will identify shapes in nature, complete a habitat scavenger hunt, participate in a community science project as a class, and construct an animal out of shapes. This unit will also help students build observation skills, share their knowledge with the scientific community, and find connections between different habitats.
