Build It: Colorado River Water System Engineers

In this unit, students will learn about water infrastructure and teamwork through completing collaborative engineering challenges based on the Colorado River watershed. Students will build a pump, design and test a neighborhood water distribution system, research and evaluate local and global water infrastructure, and construct a dam. This unit will also help students learn the engineering design process, practice critical thinking, and improve their teamwork skills.
